kendra graves
is a mother, educator, earth steward, cultural worker and yogi who received a 200 hour yoga teacher certification from Maya Breuer and Sherry Vidyananda Ryan of the Santosha School of Yoga.
Kendra was a 2012 Institute of Nonprofit Management Community Fellow, a 2014 Harvard Public School of Health Prevention Research Center Leader in Health, a 2016 GreenFaith Climate Change Convergence Leader, and is a trained restorative justice circle facilitator.
In 2014, Kendra was awarded a Kripalu Yoga Teacher's Association Teaching for Diversity grant for an initiative to offer free yoga classes to public housing residents, and the following year, a partnership with a local branch of the Boston Public Library was awarded funds to host classes and workshops for seniors.
Biomimicry, Black feminism and Buddhism are guiding forces of Kendra's work.
